What is your favourite way to incorporate exercise into your day?

This is an example from just a 10 minute break in our unciycle stroller ride. “Hey, who wants to see how fast they can run to that tree down there while dad takes a break?”

You know who wants to do that kind of stuff? Kids!

Back in my army days, there was a pile of rolls of razor wire WAY down the road. If you messed up, you had to run down and count them and back in less than 10 mins. what if it wasn’t about messing up though? What if it wasn’t used as a punishment, but just because it’s fun? Instead of just me knowing that there were 87 rolls of razor wire over there (yeah, i counted them…) what if I told the kids to, as fast as they could, tell me a bug they see on four of those trees down there? How fast can you do it while running backwards?

Mixing fitness into things. It’s fun. And no one asks you when recess is!
