We had another fun week. It was winter jackets and snow at the beginning and no coat scootering at the end of it. We went to the library and were excited to see they added two ipads to the computer section. The three year old went with me to get the cars and trains for the car and train table and wanted to return them before setting them up after I said ‘huh, oh look, they have ipads like at gramma’s library!’

A trip to the pet store is always fun, it’s great having one around the corner for sure – they love animals, even if it’s just looking. On our way to gramma’s we stopped to check on the veggie chain (veggies on a string) they made last week and animals had eaten the whole thing! (just like gramma KNEW they would, hmmmm)

Homemade playdoh is more fun now that the kids can both help out, and I happened to organize the playdoh sets with the 5yo into ziploc bags (the troll hair salon, the dentist set…)

The lego bank was pretty exciting as it’s the first structure that he thought needed to be somewhere so decided to make it. (i showed him the next day how to add structure to his pieces to make a roof possible.

Typing the words on the computer as he read them was an interesting discovery as he was not able to guess at what the word probably was before I typed it. (usually). This will be a fun way to learn about punctuation marks and whatnot. #yayScreenTime!
