We had a great little adventure in a neat place we found on our way to pick up mom from work…so we go a little early and get some ‘great outdoors’. I didn’t think about bringing the bug spray as it has usually been pretty ‘annoying bug-free’ the times we went.
This time, the whole time I was driving towards it, I was wondering the whole time if the dark rain cloud would be gone by the time we got there. It was. So we went in. Where the 14 million bugs who just woke up were…
I figured we’d only go in for 10 minutes and then back out, which we did, give or take. They learned how if you keep moving, they don’t really get you until you stop. (Also, the more carbon dioxide you are pumping out because of too much activity and heavy breathing, the more attractive you are to them)
A few days later we discovered that he was much better at swatting away bugs than she was…oh well, valuable lessons indeed.

Can we build mom an arcade?
He asked me if we could build mom an arcade. I explained to him what an arcade was to make sure he knew what he was talking about. He told me an arcade was also something that if you collected flowers for someone and gave them to them as a collection they would be happy. I told him he meant bouquet.
